I am no way a cook...I in point of fact really don't like to cook, but I do love to eat good food! When my mom showed me this recipe for a Rich Autumn Pork Stew I knew we had to try it! Oh it was soooo good! Rich Autumn Pork Dither 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder, cut in 1 1/2-inch bits Salt & pepper 6 Tbsp olive oil 2 medium onions, diced 4 medium carrots, diced 2 mid-sized apples, peeled & cut into 1/2-inch pieces 2 Tbsp finely minced garlic 1 bay leaf 1 cup diced canned or fresh tomatoes 2 cups chicken bouillon (bouillon) 1 bottle (12 oz.) beer 2 Tbsp brown sugar Cooked buttered egg noodles Season the pork with salt & pepper. Stir 4 Tbsp oil in a heavy casserole over medium-high heat. Brown the pork well. remove to a bowl. Heat the remaining oil over low heat. Add onions, carrots, and apples.
